Warm spring greetings from CSUS,

This is just a short blurb about a city of Calgary Hackathon happening soon so don’t worry we’ll leave you to your spring time in no time.

PEDESTRIAN COMFORT HACKATHON | CITY OF CALGARY MUNICIPAL BUILDING | MAY 26 -27 |

Calling all hackers, transportation enthusiasts, big thinkers! The City of Calgary wants YOU to participate in Hackathon 2018: Pedestrian Comfort, May 26 – 27 at the Municipal Building.

With a theme of ‘pedestrian comfort’, we’ll be hosting our city’s brightest minds to a weekend of creating, where teams will develop and pitch solutions for increasing pedestrian comfort in our city, using open data from The City of Calgary’s Open Calgary portal.  We’ll be looking for ideas that fall under three areas of pedestrian comfort: play, safety and health.

Play

Create something that helps people use our streets in new ways and encourages community.

Safety

Create something that helps increase pedestrian safety on Calgary’s streets.

Health

Create something that helps encourage Calgarians to get outside and be active.

Interested in participating? (Yeah, you are!) Registration is limited to 100 participants, so get all the details and nab your spot at Calgary.ca/hackathon today.

That’s it from us, until next time.

CSUS OUT!

YET ANOTHER HACKATHON
