Just wanted to let you all know about a volunteer position for the department!
Our department has an Operations committee, responsibilities involve ensuring that we have the right infrastructure for our teaching and research. As students are an integral part of the whole teaching thing, it’s always good to have and hear a student perspective on these matters.
The commitment for this will generally be a meeting once a month, usually during the last week of a month, but also being able to adapt to sporadic meetings that may pop up.
The first meeting is next week, Wednesday at 1. If anyone is interested in volunteering for this, or if you have some ideas for where we should be taking the department on these matters, reach out to us, and we’ll get you in touch with the right people!
