Calgary Hacks 2020
Feb 15-16 2020
The annual Calgary Hacks Hackathon is happening in the beginning of reading break! Want to win $1,200? Ipads? Game keys? Fed 3 meals? Come on over and participate. You get 24-hours to work in a team to create a project that is based on a topic, given a day before the competition. You will then be judged by professionals from the industry. Math Science Lab Redesign
Deadline: 24th February
That’s right folks, the Department of Computer Science is seeking you guys to design the 1st floor Math Sci Lab! You are free to do anything you want, confined in the space of the 1st floor. Break some walls, add in 50 sofas, add plants, anything! Have fun!

UCalgary Tech Fest
February 6, 2020, 11 am – 4 pm
Tech Fest is happening on February 6, in partnership with the Schulich School of Engineering, Department of Computer Science, and Calgary Economic Development. This event will be a unique take on the idea of a career fair, with over 40 local tech companies coming to Mac Hall to share career information at their booths, and connect with students over coding challenges and video game icebreakers.
