State of Affairs
We have events planned for the rest of the semester, but, with the current state of affairs with the COVID-19, we are playing things by ear. We’ll keep you updated as the situation progresses and let you know when things are happening when we learn more about operations for the rest of the semester.

Update on Calgary Collegiate Programming Contest 2020
The Competitive Programming Club and Synopsis have come to terms that the 2020 Calgary Collegiate Programming Contest will NOT be held in person. They have assessed that they do not want to further risk any spread of the COVID-19 by holding the event with a large number of participants at the university. They are deeply saddened by the decision but must do what is best to preserve the health of everyone. However, they will be holding the contest online during the same time slot of 12:00pm-4:00pm through Kattis where they will be sending out an email to all participants as well as through their Discord server. Due to this adjustment in the contest they will unfortunately not be able to give out any prize money for the event. Again they are terribly apologetic to all who were excited for the physical event.

CPSC Showcase 2020

As far as we know, the CPSC Showcase 2020 is still on. Obviously, you should keep an ear out on details about as we approach that date. Registration is still open until March 15. It’s a great way to show off the cool things that you’ve worked on through out the semester both in your classes as well as side projects that you want to share!
